KIMONO
The word KIMONO simply means 'the thing to wear'!
It is the national dress of Japan and embodies the culture and sensibilities going back to when it was worn by all regardless of gender or social status.
Over the centuries it has been adopted by Global catwalks and street wear alike.
Modern day interpretations see it worn without the restrictive Obi belt and the simple shape makes it an easy throw on.
Inspirational kimono wearers include Marlene Dietrich, Madonna, Siouxsie and Boy George.
